Restigouche & District Labour Council  – Picnic & Parade at Rotary Park in Dalhousie, Sept 2nd  – Parade will start on William Street at the NBIP Hall Parking lot in Dalhousie at 11 am.  They will walk up to the Rotary Park (please wear bright colours of the rainbow); meet and greet with BBQ.  Contact = Rose Pitre 506-826-2504 (home) or 506-789-4508 (cell)


Bathurst & District Labour Council – Picnic & Parade at Coronation Park, Munro Street in Bathurst, Sept 2nd – Registration for the parade will be from 12 noon to 1 pm.  Parade starts at 1 pm starting at Coronation Park behind Bathurst High. Parade route:  leaves Cornonation Park at 1 pm, down Douglas, down Main, up Kind, down St-Andrews and back to Bathurst High School and Coronation Park.  Guest speakers start at 1:30 pm.  There will be a barbecue following the speeches.  Hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshment will be served.  Registration for activities in the park at 2 pm – all participants must register at Coronation Park following the Parade.  Activities to be held at Coronation Park for everyone – lots of games for the kids with medals to be awarded for all children’s games.  Entertainment in the afternoon and evening at the Union Hall; open to all members and guests.   Contact = John Gagnon 506-545-0651 (cell)

Saint John & District Labour Council – Join us to show our solidarity and pride with Local union floats, t-shirts, and signs to celebrate Labour in New Brunswick.  Picnic & Parade at Rockwood Park, Saint John, Sept 2nd – Parade starts at 11 am.  Please gather at the Lower Cove Loop at 10 am (old sugar refinery).  Followed by BBQ at Fisher Lakes.  Contact = Ron Oldfield  506-647-6830 (cell)


Fredericton & District Labour Council – Picnic at Wilmot Park, Frederiction, Sept 2nd – Games, live music and BBQ 12 noon to 4 pm.  Activities include free swing dance lessons, performances by the Calithumpians, a reading table for children, face painting, a 50/50 draw and many games.   Contact = Alex Bailey 506-470-7206
