Message from Election Committee – Vice President Election

Hello Members of Unifor Local 506:

This is Alain Boudreau, chair of the October 2014 Election Committee with an update for members regarding the election for Unifor Local 506 Vice President for the year 2014 with the term of office ending in 2016.

At the September sub-local union meetings there has been only one nomination for the role.  The nominee, Sandy Brideau accepted the nomination at the September 17th Region 4 union meeting.

The Election Committee has reviewed the nominee’s résumé and is pleased to announce that Sandy Brideau will assume the role of Vice President by acclamation.  Sandy will be sworn in at the December Executive Board meeting.
